Is Southern Hospitality Leaving Republic for Season 5? Joe Bradley’s Exit Fuels Shake-Up Rumors

Southern Hospitality could look very different if Bravo brings the series back for Season 5. For four seasons, Leva Bonaparte’s Republic Garden & Lounge has been the show’s center of gravity, providing both the workplace and the reason its Charleston friend group remains connected. Now, several developments away from the cameras are raising a bigger question about the show’s future.

Joe Bradley has left Republic and joined Uptown Hospitality Group, while TJ Dinch has also moved away from his old Republic role to focus on his own business. At the same time, reports of tension with Leva have surfaced, and there is new speculation that Southern Charm stars Craig Conover and Austen Kroll could become involved if Southern Hospitality returns.

Nothing about that potential restructuring has been announced by Bravo, but the possibility of Southern Hospitality moving beyond Republic suddenly looks much more realistic than it once did.

Could Southern Hospitality Season 5 Leave Republic?

It is possible, but there is currently no confirmation that Southern Hospitality is leaving Republic or that Leva is exiting the series.

That distinction is important. Bravo has not officially announced Southern Hospitality Season 5, much less revealed its cast or setting. Rumors about a major shake-up have nevertheless continued since Season 4 ended, with much of the speculation centered on whether the show could follow its established cast into the next stage of their careers instead of keeping everyone tied to Republic.

That would be a significant change to the original concept. Southern Hospitality began as a workplace reality series following Leva and the young employees working across her Charleston hospitality world. Four seasons later, several of those employees have developed businesses, careers and relationships that no longer depend entirely on Republic. Joe’s departure is the clearest example.

Joe Bradley Has Left Republic for Uptown Hospitality Group

Joe officially moved on from Republic in July, announcing that he had joined Uptown Hospitality Group and would call Share House his new home.

The move is particularly interesting from a Southern Hospitality perspective because Uptown operates several Charleston venues, giving Joe an entirely new hospitality environment in which to work and advance his career. His new position also brings him into the same business orbit as Craig Conover and Austen Kroll.

Craig and Austen partnered with Uptown Hospitality Group on By The Way, their Charleston restaurant and bar. Joe has said his new role gives him opportunities to work across the group’s venues, including By The Way.

That creates a natural television connection that did not exist when Southern Hospitality revolved almost exclusively around Republic.

Joe’s career ambitions were already part of Season 4. He had made it clear that remaining a VIP host forever was not enough for him and that he eventually wanted to operate venues of his own. His move away from Republic therefore feels less like a random job change and more like the next chapter of a storyline Bravo has already followed.

TJ Dinch Is Building a Future Outside Republic Too

Joe is not the only longtime cast member whose professional life has moved away from Leva’s business.

TJ Dinch has been putting more energy into Sir Wieners, his hot dog business, with plans to expand it beyond its earlier pop-up form. His public comments about betting on himself and building something independently also fueled speculation about his relationship with Leva.

Reports have since claimed that Leva’s relationships with both Joe and TJ deteriorated after Season 4. Neither the rumored feud nor every detail surrounding those relationships has been publicly confirmed by everyone involved, so that should not be treated as an established Season 5 storyline.

What is clear is that two recognizable Southern Hospitality personalities are no longer dependent on Republic for their professional stories. That gives producers options.

Could Craig Conover and Austen Kroll Join Southern Hospitality?

This is where the possible Season 5 restructure becomes especially interesting. Recent reporting has suggested that Craig and Austen could potentially appear on Southern Hospitality because of Joe’s connection to Uptown Hospitality Group. There is no indication that either man has officially joined the cast, and Bravo has not announced such a crossover.

Still, occasional appearances would make sense without requiring Craig or Austen to become full-time Southern Hospitality stars.

Southern Hospitality was born from Southern Charm in the first place. Craig and Austen already have a direct connection to Charleston’s hospitality scene through By The Way, and Joe now works within the group behind the venue.

If cameras followed Joe at his new workplace, keeping Craig and Austen completely outside that story could actually become harder than bringing them into it occasionally.

It would also give Bravo a way to maintain Southern Hospitality’s restaurant and nightlife identity without requiring every major cast member to work for Leva.

Is Leva Bonaparte Leaving Southern Hospitality?

For now, Leva’s future should be treated as unconfirmed. There have been reports and online rumors suggesting she could be part of a larger Season 5 shake-up, but Bravo has not announced that Leva has been fired, left the show or been replaced.

That matters because Southern Hospitality has always been closely associated with her. Removing Republic from the center of the series would effectively require Bravo to redefine what the show is.

The series could theoretically become less of a workplace show and more of a Charleston friend-group reality series, following Joe at Uptown Hospitality, TJ building Sir Wieners, Bradley Carter pursuing his own ventures and the rest of the cast navigating their careers and relationships.

It could also continue filming at Republic while expanding into those other businesses. A complete Republic exit is only one possibility.

Southern Hospitality Season 5 Has Not Been Officially Confirmed

The biggest unanswered question remains whether Season 5 is happening at all.

Cast member Bradley Carter recently said that cameras were not rolling and stopped short of confirming another season, although he encouraged viewers to remain hopeful. His comments are notable because he also highlighted how Joe, TJ and other cast members are moving into new professional ventures. That may ultimately be the story Southern Hospitality needs.

The cast that began the series as young Republic employees is getting older and building careers outside the nightclub. Trying to force everyone back under the same workplace roof could feel increasingly artificial.

Following them into Charleston’s wider hospitality scene, on the other hand, would allow Southern Hospitality to evolve without abandoning what made the series work in the first place.

For now, Southern Hospitality has not officially left Republic, Leva has not officially exited, and Craig and Austen have not been announced for Season 5. But Joe Bradley’s move to Uptown Hospitality Group has created a believable path for a very different version of the show if Bravo decides to bring it back.
