Oscar Montoya emerged as the unlikely winner of Game Changer Season 8’s “Last Talent Standing,” an episode that asked 23 Dropout performers to keep revealing new talents until only one remained. Montoya entered the competition primarily confident in his dancing, but survived round after round with everything from character work to improvised physical comedy and teaching choreography. By the end, he defeated Kimia Behpoornia and won a Chili’s dinner for 46 people, which he immediately said he would share with the people who worked on the episode.
The Game Changer victory is only the latest part of Montoya’s varied career. He is a Colombian-American actor, comedian, improviser, dancer, teacher and podcast host who has become an increasingly familiar face across Dropout’s programming. Who Is Oscar Montoya?
Montoya originally comes from Palmira, Colombia, and moved to New York when he was young. His performing background began with dance, particularly hip-hop, before comedy and improvisation became an increasingly important part of his career. He trained and performed at theaters including Magnet Theater, the People’s Improv Theater and Upright Citizens Brigade, eventually building a career that combined acting, dance and improv rather than keeping those skills separate.

He later became part of the Los Angeles comedy scene and joined Spanish Aqui Presents alongside Raiza Licea, Tony Rodriguez and Carlos Santos. The group grew out of Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles and became known for its all-Latine improv and variety performances.
