Mishael Morgan as Nadine Brooks

Mishael Morgan plays Nadine Brooks, the daughter of the local marina owner. Nadine is deeply attached to her hometown and wants to restore the Pumpkin Regatta after the disagreement between her father and Ethan’s family threatens the tradition. Morgan has described Nadine as optimistic and genuinely happy with small-town life, which gives the character a different starting point from Hallmark leads who return home only after becoming frustrated with life somewhere else.

Morgan is best known for playing Hilary Curtis and Amanda Sinclair on The Young and the Restless. In 2022, she became the first Black woman to win the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. Her television credits also include Chicago Med, Most Dangerous Game, Supernatural and Republic of Doyle, while Pumpkin Regatta Romance gives her another leading role within the Hallmark world.

Corey Sevier as Ethan King

Corey Sevier stars as Ethan King, the local pumpkin farmer who joins Nadine in trying to repair the problems created by their fathers’ disagreement. Ethan’s farming life makes him central to the regatta beyond the romance itself, and Sevier has said that the role allowed him to drive a tractor, work around the barn and actually get out on the water in the movie’s pumpkin boats. He and Morgan had not worked together before, but both have described an easy working relationship that helped the lighter scenes between Nadine and Ethan.

Sevier has been acting since childhood and first became widely known through the 1990s version of Lassie. His later credits include Little Men, North Shore, Immortals, Cedar Cove and Mistresses, along with Hallmark movies such as Road Trip Romance, Pumpkin Everything, Noel Next Door and The Dog Lover’s Guide to Dating. Pumpkin Regatta Romance also has a personal connection for Sevier because the screenplay was written by his wife, Kate Pragnell.

Eugene Clark as George Brooks

Eugene Clark plays George Brooks, Nadine’s father and one of the older men whose disagreement has placed the town’s beloved regatta in jeopardy. Morgan has spoken warmly about working with Clark, saying that aspects of his personality reminded her of her own late father and helped make their on-screen relationship feel natural. That connection gives George more warmth than a character who simply exists as one half of a family dispute.

Clark has worked extensively across film and television, with credits ranging from Land of the Dead to The Madness and Saint-Pierre. His casting gives the Brooks family an experienced performer capable of handling both the comic stubbornness surrounding the rivalry and the more affectionate parts of Nadine’s relationship with her father.

Rob Stewart as Andrew King

Rob Stewart plays Andrew King, the senior member of Ethan’s family positioned on the opposite side of the disagreement with George. Hallmark’s synopsis establishes the conflict between Nadine and Ethan’s fathers as one of the reasons the Pumpkin Regatta is in trouble, while the cast credits identify Stewart as Andrew King. That puts him firmly at the center of the King family’s side of the story.

Stewart is particularly recognizable to Hallmark viewers from The Way Home, where he plays Sam Bishop. His long career also includes Nikita, Killjoys, Tropical Heat, Mayor of Kingstown and When Hope Calls. Jenny Raven and Sharron Matthews join the town

Jenny Raven appears as Allie, while Sharron Matthews plays Tracey. Paula Boudreau and the King family

Paula Boudreau is credited as Frankie King, adding another member to Ethan’s side of the family. Catherine McGregor plays Barb, while Jordan Hayes appears as Lola.
