My Life with the Walter Boys returns for Season 3 with Jackie Howard facing a problem that refuses to become simpler: two Walter brothers love her, she has feelings for both, and the family around them is dealing with a crisis much larger than teenage romance.

The new season, released on Netflix on August 6, picks up after Jackie confessed her love to Cole, unaware that Alex was close enough to hear her. Before any of them could deal with that emotional grenade, George Walter suffered a medical emergency. Season 3 brings both storylines forward while adding several newcomers, including a polished New York intern who reconnects Jackie with the Manhattan life she left behind.

Nikki Rodriguez as Jackie Howard

Nikki Rodriguez returns as Jackie Howard, the New York teenager whose life changed after losing her family in a tragic accident.

Jackie moved to Silver Falls to live with Katherine Walter, her mother’s closest friend, and the enormous Walter family. What began as an uncomfortable relocation gradually became a second chance at belonging. The complication, naturally, is that Jackie developed feelings for both Cole and Alex Walter.

Season 3 finds Jackie legally established as part of the Walter family, but emotionally less certain than ever. Her confession to Cole has placed Alex in a painful position, while the arrival of someone connected to Manhattan threatens to remind Jackie of the future she once imagined for herself.

Noah LaLonde as Cole Walter

Noah LaLonde plays Cole Walter, the former high school football star whose identity was shattered by a serious injury.

Cole spent much of the series struggling with the loss of the future he expected. Football had given him status, confidence, and direction. Without it, he became restless and self-destructive, frequently hiding disappointment behind charm.

Season 2 began moving Cole toward a more constructive role when he explored coaching rather than playing. Jackie also helped him improve academically, giving him another reason to imagine that his life might not be over simply because his original plan disappeared.

His feelings for Jackie remain central to Season 3, particularly after her confession. LaLonde’s previous credits include Criminal Minds, Dear Camp ’86, and Summer Flings & Funerals.

Ashby Gentry as Alex Walter

Alex began the series as a bookish, reserved teenager who frequently appeared overshadowed by Cole. His transformation has been one of the show’s more visible character changes. He developed greater confidence, became involved in rodeo competition, and returned with a noticeably different presence.

Ashby Gentry returns as Alex Walter, Cole’s quieter brother and the other half of Jackie’s romantic dilemma. What did not change was his attachment to Jackie. The Season 2 finale left Alex in an especially difficult position when he overheard Jackie declaring her love for Cole. Season 3 must now deal with what that revelation does to his relationship with Jackie and his already complicated bond with his brother.

Sarah Rafferty as Katherine Walter

Sarah Rafferty plays Katherine Walter, Jackie’s legal guardian and the emotional center of the Walter household.

Katherine was one of Jackie’s late mother’s closest friends. After the accident, she welcomed Jackie into a home already crowded with children, responsibilities, and competing personalities. She has helped Jackie adjust to Silver Falls while offering advice that is usually more perceptive than Jackie expects.

Season 3 gives Katherine a more personal crisis to face after George’s medical emergency. While the love triangle continues around her, Katherine must deal with uncertainty surrounding her husband and the future of their family.

Rafferty is best known for playing Donna Paulsen in Suits. Her other television credits include Grey’s Anatomy, Chicago Med, and Law & Order. She has also appeared in films such as Four Single Fathers, Small, Beautifully Moving Parts, and All Things Valentine.

Marc Blucas as George Walter

Marc Blucas returns as George Walter, Katherine’s husband and the patriarch of the Walter family.

George’s Season 2 storyline centered on the ranch and his attempt to reshape it into a tourist destination with his eldest son, Will. Financial pressure and disagreements involving Jackie’s uncle Richard made the project increasingly stressful.

That pressure culminated in a medical emergency at the end of the season. George’s condition is expected to remain one of Season 3’s major family storylines, giving the Walters a problem that cannot be solved through romantic declarations or sibling arguments.

Naveen Paddock as Eliot

Naveen Paddock joins Season 3 as Eliot, a sophisticated New York intern working with Jackie’s uncle Richard.

Eliot’s arrival in Silver Falls reconnects Jackie with the Manhattan world she left behind. He represents more than another new face. His presence may force Jackie to consider whether her future truly belongs in Colorado or whether part of her still wants the life she once planned in New York.

Given the instability surrounding Jackie, Cole, and Alex, Eliot’s timing is unlikely to make anything easier.

Chad Rook as Mac

Chad Rook joins the cast as Mac, a confident race car driver who hires Cole.

Mac’s connection to Cole could expand the teenager’s life beyond school, football, and his rivalry with Alex. After losing his original athletic dream, Cole has spent much of the series searching for something capable of replacing it.

A job with Mac may offer him a new environment and a different kind of ambition. It could also provide Cole with a storyline that is not entirely dependent on Jackie, which would be healthy for everyone involved.

Erin Karpluk plays Hannah, George Walter’s estranged and free-spirited sister.
