Made in Chelsea Season 32 Episode 2 Recap: Maali Admits She Still Has Feelings for Sam Prince

Season 32 of “Made in Chelsea” wasted little time establishing its first complicated romantic triangle. After Sam Prince introduced Maali Khan-Stokes to the group and Jack Taylor began showing an interest in her, Episode 2 turns that flirtation into something more serious, but it also proves that Maali’s connection with Sam has not disappeared as quickly as everyone around her assumed.

Jack enters the episode encouraged by a drunken kiss with Maali and convinced there could be something worth pursuing between them. Sam initially reacts by distancing himself, but his attempt to close the door on Maali only creates a more uncomfortable situation. Elsewhere, Imogen Bloom’s unexpected reappearance forces Philip Pollard to revisit the early days of his relationship with Georgia, while Zeyno finally decides what she wants from Liam.

Jack and Maali decide to explore their connection

Jack is still delighted about kissing Maali during a night out, although both acknowledge that alcohol played a part in how quickly things moved. Rather than treating the kiss as the beginning of an immediate relationship, they agree that they should actually spend time together and see whether the attraction works away from a night out.

There is one obvious complication. Maali has also been seeing Sam, and Jack and Sam already have a difficult relationship. Jack makes it clear that he does not trust Sam, while Maali remains reluctant to treat one drunken kiss as proof that she has chosen Jack over anyone else.

Sam, meanwhile, is already hearing about Jack’s growing interest. His reaction suggests the situation bothers him considerably more than he initially wants to admit.

Imogen returns with new information about Philip

A separate storyline develops when Angus runs into former “Made in Chelsea” cast member Imogen Bloom. Their conversation quickly turns to Philip Pollard, whom Imogen says she dated for several months before their communication abruptly stopped.

According to Imogen, she and Philip went on roughly eight to ten dates. She says they began seeing each other around November, continued through New Year’s and January, and were still in contact shortly before Valentine’s Day. She then stopped hearing from him and later saw that Philip was spending time with Georgia at Soho Farmhouse.

The detail matters because Georgia was already aware that Philip had been seeing other women around the beginning of their relationship, but Imogen’s account suggests their connection was more extensive than Georgia understood.

When Imogen later speaks directly to Philip, he acknowledges that he handled the situation badly. Georgia arrives during the conversation and soon realizes she is hearing details she had not previously been given, leaving her frustrated that she is once again learning about Philip’s past from somebody else.

Sam interrupts Jack and Maali’s date

Jack and Maali finally arrange a proper date, but Sam gets there first. By the time Jack arrives, Sam is already sitting with Maali and confronting her about the fact that she kissed Jack after recently having a good date with him.

Sam tells Maali that seeing her with Jack has changed how he feels about continuing to date her. He insists he does not want to be involved in a situation where he and Jack are pursuing the same woman, but the conversation becomes increasingly personal as he questions how Maali could move from their date to kissing Jack so quickly.

Maali pushes back. From her perspective, she was still getting to know both men and had never promised exclusivity to either of them. She is particularly upset by Sam’s tone because she says she genuinely liked him and had expected their situation to be handled more maturely.

Jack arrives while the conversation is still tense. Sam soon leaves, allowing Jack and Maali to continue their date, but the mood has already changed. Jack later says they managed to salvage the evening and share more kisses, yet it is obvious that Sam remains emotionally present in their new relationship.

Zeyno tells Liam she only feels friendship

Zeyno’s storyline reaches a quieter conclusion. After going on dates with Liam, she admits to her friends that the romantic chemistry she hoped for simply has not developed.

The complication is Chuggs. Zeyno previously had strong chemistry with him, and although she insists there is nothing serious happening between them, she admits that the attraction between them has never completely disappeared. At the same time, Beks reveals that she and Chuggs recently kissed, adding another layer to that already complicated group dynamic.

Zeyno eventually speaks directly to Liam and tells him she feels their connection is more platonic than romantic. Liam takes the conversation well, and the two agree that they would rather preserve a friendship than force something that is not naturally developing.

Alice opens up about struggling after becoming a mother

Episode 2 also gives Alice Vanderpump one of its most personal storylines. Speaking with her friends, Alice explains that although she loves being a mother and feels grateful for her family, she has been struggling with a persistent feeling of unhappiness that she cannot easily explain.

Alice says she has already spoken to her doctor and that postnatal depression or hormonal changes have been discussed as possible explanations. Later, she tells Sam Vanderpump that she is taking steps to get professional support, while he reassures her that they will work through the difficult period together.

The scenes are handled more quietly than the episode’s relationship drama. Rather than trying to provide an easy answer, the storyline focuses on Alice beginning to talk openly about what she has been experiencing and accepting support.

Philip and Georgia try to move past the Imogen revelation

Imogen’s conversation with Philip does not disappear once the initial confrontation is over. Philip later admits that Imogen was one of several women he was seeing around the same period that his connection with Georgia was beginning.

Georgia is less troubled by the fact that they were not officially exclusive than by the possibility that she still does not know the whole story. She tells Philip that hearing new information in front of Imogen makes her feel embarrassed because she wants to be able to believe that everything from that period has already been discussed.

Imogen later speaks with Georgia about the tension she sees between the couple. Georgia acknowledges that she may still be holding resentment from what happened earlier in their relationship, while Philip admits their frequent disagreements are one reason he has hesitated to make things official.

Despite that uncertainty, Philip and Georgia decide they are both willing to keep trying. The conversation does not resolve the trust problem, but it makes clear that neither is ready to walk away yet.

Maali admits she still has feelings for Sam

The episode’s biggest revelation comes during another confrontation between Jack and Sam. Jack approaches Sam intending to defend Maali after seeing how upset she was during their date, but the conversation takes an unexpected direction when the subject turns to Maali’s feelings.

Maali is asked directly whether she still has feelings for Sam. She does not deny it. Instead, she explains that genuine feelings cannot simply disappear overnight, particularly when she had developed a real soft spot for him.

When Sam asks again whether those feelings still exist, Maali confirms that they do. Sam then admits that he still has feelings for her as well, although Maali quickly adds that she does not believe they are going back to what they had.

That distinction is important. Maali is not telling Sam that she wants to restart their relationship. She is acknowledging that moving forward with Jack does not automatically erase everything she felt for Sam.

Jack, however, is uncomfortable hearing it so plainly. After Sam leaves, he tells Maali that he did not realize those feelings were still active and admits that the exchange made him feel foolish after he had arrived intending to stand up for her.

Maali apologizes for making Jack feel that way but refuses to pretend her emotions have vanished simply because she is now exploring something with him. By the end of Episode 2, Jack and Maali are still getting to know each other, but Sam is clearly not as far out of the picture as Jack believed.
