Nene’s date of birth is publicly listed as March 14, 2010. TVmaze and Famous Birthdays both give that date, while Thai reporting confirms that she was 15 when her AGT audition was taped and was about to celebrate her 16th birthday. Her own official biography confirms that she is from Phuket and began playing guitar when she was seven, but it does not currently list her full birth date.

Nene Royal Started Playing Guitar at Seven
Nene did not begin playing music specifically for AGT. According to her official biography, she picked up the guitar at seven and learned largely by ear through videos online. She later gained live experience performing in Phuket and appeared on the Thai television program ‘Super 10.’

She also competed in established Thai music competitions before appearing on American television. Nene finished as a runner-up at the 14th Overdrive Guitar Contest in 2023 and received an Outstanding Player award at the King Power Band Competition in 2025. She is also a Featured Artist with Enya Music and has been working on original material.
Who Are Nene Royal’s Parents?
Nene’s father is Narong Amlai, while her mother is publicly known as Aom. She also has a younger brother, and all three traveled with or supported her during her AGT run. Her father accompanied her closely during the competition, including appearing with her after she received the Golden Buzzer.
Both parents have supported her interest in music from a young age. The finale is scheduled for September 22, 2026, with the winner due to be announced on September 23. Nene therefore enters the final as one of the acts who did not need to compete in the semifinal. Her AGT appearance has also introduced a much wider audience to a music career that had already been developing for several years in Thailand.
