The top 20 Netflix series premiering in 2023

2022 was a good year for Netflix, but 2023 will be better. The new year will bring numerous new and returning Netflix programs. Netflix has already announced release dates for certain series in 2019.

We looked at all the 2023 releases verified or anticipated. The Netflix program for 2023 is amazing. We started with That ’70s Show spinoff series, That ’90s Show.

That ’90s Show release date

That ’90s Show has a release date. Netflix’s That ’70s Show spinoff premieres Jan. 19. Netflix gave the adolescent series 10 episodes, so fans will have enough to watch.

Ginny and Georgia season 2 release date

Season 2 of Ginny and Georgia has a release date. Netflix stated on Dec. 1 that the series would return in 2023. We believed the second season would be out in 2022, but Netflix released it in early 2021.

Freeridge release date

Freeridge, On my Block’s spinoff, has a premiere date. The Netflix adolescent show debuts Feb. 2. First season has eight 30-minute episodes, which is unusual for Netflix adolescent series. Recent Netflix series usually includes eight episodes.

Bling Empire: New York release date

Netflix’s Bling Empire was a hit in 2021. Bling Empire: New York, a spinoff, debuts on Jan. 20. This day brings eight 35-minute Netflix episodes.

Kaleidoscope release date

Netflix will debut Kaleidoscope on Jan. 1. It’s about expert criminals trying to steal $7 billion. The vault is secured by a strong security crew.

Vikings: Valhalla season 2 release date

Next on our list is Vikings: Valhalla. Vikings: Valhalla returns on Jan. 12, so mark your calendars. Season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla consists of eight 40- to 50-minute episodes.

Lockwood & Co. release date

You season 4 release date

A new season of You will hit Netflix in 2023. Netflix pushed up our 2022 debut date to 2023. The date was revealed during TUDUM’s virtual fan gathering. The fourth season will be broken into two parts. You season 4 part 1 drops Feb. 9 and part 2 on March 9. A teaser for season 4 was also published.

Outer Banks season 3 release updates

Outer Banks fans? Netflix dropped the first third-season teaser at TUDUM. Plus! Teaser confirms 2023 release. We predict an early 2023 release. Jan or Feb. It might be released in spring like season 1. We doubt season 3 will arrive before summer.

Firefly Lane season 2 part 2 release date

Season 2 of Firefly Lane premiered on Dec. 2, 2022. Firefly Lane season 2 part 2 has a release date. Netflix will broadcast season 2’s second and last episode on June 8, 2023. On this day, the last seven episodes will release. This date fits our original spring/summer 2023 release projection.

Shadow and Bone season 2 release date

Shadow and Bone fans have been waiting over a year for the show’s comeback. Netflix renewed the drama two months after its April 2021 launch. The streamer said 55 million homes watched the first season in its first four weeks.

The Witcher season 3 release updates

Another popular Netflix original series won’t return this year. The Witcher season 3 will be published in 2023, Netflix said during TUDUM. No release date was given. Summer release means June 21 to Sept. 23. Probably June or July 2023.

Never Have I Ever season 4 release updates

Never Have I Ever is next on our list. Never Have I Ever season 4 will air in 2023. Netflix renewed the adolescent series in March 2022, before season 3’s launch. Also in 2023. Netflix hasn’t announced a release date.

Manifest season 4 part 2 release updates

We can’t believe Manifest ends soon. Originally on NBC, Netflix renewed Manifest for a fourth and final season in 2021. First, 20 episodes were confirmed for the fourth season, separated into sections. The actors announced that the fourth season will be divided in two.

Sex Education season 4 release updates

We were disappointed to hear that Sex Education won’t return in 2022. Since the first season debuted in 2019, a new one has debuted each year. Due to the late start of season 4 production, there won’t be enough time for post-production and a 2022 release. Sex Education season 4 is due in 2023.

Heartstopper season 2 release updates

Heartstopper is next on Netflix’s 2023 lineup. The emotional adolescent sitcom debuted on Netflix on April 22, 2022. Netflix decided the show’s fate in a month. Heartstopper’s second and third seasons were renewed in May 2022. Heartstopper season 2 has no release date. It’s due in 2023. We won’t hear about season 3 for a time.

The Lincoln Lawyer season 2 release updates

Netflix released The Lincoln Lawyer on May 13, 2022, and everyone stopped to watch. It was a big hit with many viewers and excellent reviews. Netflix renewed the courtroom drama a month after its debut due to outstanding viewing. People have asked when the second episode would hit Netflix.
