Relationship Rehab Cast: Why These Five Love After Lockup Couples Return
Five familiar Love After Lockup couples enter a shared program with Dr. Ish. Their earlier stories explain the different pressures behind their return.

Love After Lockup has followed relationships through release days, reunions and the adjustment to life outside prison. Relationship Rehab brings familiar faces into a shared setting with Dr. Ish Major. For anyone recognizing only some of the returning cast, their earlier stories help explain why this meeting carries so much history.
Which couples return for Relationship Rehab?
Brittany and Marcelino, Melissa and Louie, Alexis and Julius, Justine and Michael, and Kimberly and Joey make up the five-couple cast. AMC’s September announcement confirms nine episodes, an October 2, 2026 premiere and Friday broadcasts at 9 PM ET/PT on We TV and exclusive streaming on All Reality.
These entry labels come from AMC’s August 27 cast announcement. They do not establish today’s relationship status.
Brittany and Marcelino focus on co-parenting
Brittany and Marcelino enter separated and hoping to improve co-parenting. Attending together does not establish a romantic reunion.

Their screen history stretches well beyond a first meeting. We TV’s July 2, 2021 Life Goes On installment featured them discussing their relationship’s early days, their children’s names and keeping romance alive. Seen against that older check-in, this return asks viewers to consider how a familiar relationship has changed. Remembering the earlier version of the couple can provide context without assuming that a shared appearance means a reunion.
Melissa and Louie face the wedding question
Melissa and Louie arrive engaged, but disagree over readiness for marriage. AMC presents their wedding plans as something requiring discussion, rather than an answer to existing friction.

That is a useful shift from their 2024 Life After Lockup introduction, which described Melissa wanting an engagement and Louie working multiple jobs toward the ring she hoped for. His mother, Donna, questioned the pace. The older storyline focused on reaching an engagement; this series begins with that step already taken. A ring and agreement about the future are separate issues, which gives returning viewers a clearer way to follow their next conversations.
Alexis and Julius return with trust questions
Alexis and Julius enter as a dating couple and parents to Julianna. The network describes a disagreement over commitment and trust, with Alexis wanting marriage.

Their previous television story already included questions about another relationship. The official synopsis for Quit Playing Games, aired April 25, 2025, describes Alexis confronting Julius about another woman. That dated episode helps explain why trust is a recurring subject in their return. It does not establish every allegation as fact, and the new series’ premise alone cannot tell viewers whether either person’s position changes during the retreat.
Justine and Michael bring family pressures
Justine and Michael enter married, facing parenting and communication difficulties. AMC describes Justine as wanting therapy while Michael is reluctant to participate.

Their family setting predates this retreat. In September 2024, AMC introduced them as having moved from Pennsylvania to Las Vegas with their blended family. We TV later highlighted a clash between them in Sugar-Daddy Drama, aired August 8, 2025. Those earlier descriptions place Relationship Rehab within an ongoing family story. The new setting changes the focus: attending the same program is a starting point, while willingness to take part is a question of its own.

Kimberly and Joey’s reconnection becomes a marriage
Kimberly and Joey enter married, with trust and financial pressures among the issues identified by AMC. Their shared history reaches back before his release.
The network’s June 2024 Love After Lockup introduction described Kimberly reconnecting with Joey while separated from her children’s father. It also presented an allegation about Kimberly that she denied. That background shows how questions about trust were part of their televised relationship before the new retreat. It is useful context for their return, without turning an old allegation into a verified event or treating an earlier episode as proof of their lives today.

What changes when the couples meet in one program?
We TV describes Relationship Rehab as the five pairs meeting for the first time during a week of intensive therapy guided by Dr. Ish. The program’s premise concerns how the participants work through their history; it does not guarantee that every relationship will end up in the same place. The shared setting brings these separate histories together, giving viewers a new framework for following familiar faces in FilmiFeed’s reality TV coverage.
