A sassy and angry 18-year-old girl named Joey has dark images dancing around her mind. Once a happy and goofy teen, she has been changed by grief and no longer cares for social graces. Unraveling at her corners but in the midst of a college search, she meets an awkward and objectively terrible therapist with chronically shaky hands. Polar opposites, yet he could be just what she needs, but Joey’s stubborn, brash, and angry temperament are now firmly rooted, and there are complicated secrets waiting. The only way to let go may be to start entirely new.
