The third season of the American Spanish-language reality TV show La casa de los famosos debuted on January 17, 2023, with a live move-in episode on Telemundo. Contestants, cut off from the outside world, vie to outlast one another for a grand cash prize while living together under constant surveillance.

The season was announced on August 8, 2022, with Héctor Sandarti and Jimena Gallego returning as hosts. Sunday’s episodes featured a panel including season one runner-up Manelyk González, season two contestant Laura Bozzo, and Mexican TV host Yordi Rosado.

After 98 days of competition, the season concluded on April 24, 2023, with Madison Anderson crowned as the winner and Paty Navidad as the runner-up.

The initial group of housemates was revealed on December 6, 2022. Alongside the usual celebrity contestants, the season introduced two civilian housemates chosen by public vote, marking the first time civilians lived in the house.

On March 13, 2023, a housemate exchange with Big Brother Brasil was announced. Dania swapped places with Key Alves from Big Brother Brasil 23 on Day 58, with Alves returning to the house on Day 62 despite having been evicted from the Brazilian reality show. This decision was made to comply with Big Brother Brasil’s rule against bringing outside information into the house.

On January 9, 2022, ten potential civilian housemates entered, with the public voting for one man and one woman to join the celebrities. Samira Jalil was not selected by the public but later entered the house on Day 30 as a replacement for Monique, who withdrew.  {IMDb} {Wikipedia}
