Blonde is an upcoming American biographical drama film written and directed by Andrew Dominik. Adapted from Joyce Carol Oates’s historical fiction novel “Blonde”, the movie is a fictionalized take on the life of actress Marilyn Monroe, played by Ana de Armas. Adrien Brody, Bobby Cannavale and Julianne Nicholson appear in supporting roles. Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Tracey Landon, Brad Pitt, and Scott Robertson serve as producers on the movie, which, after a lengthy period of development that started in 2010, began production in Los Angeles in August 2019. Release Date

The official teaser trailer of “Blonde” was released on June 16, 2022. The film is scheduled to be released on September 23, 2022, by Netflix. It is rated NC-17 for its graphic sexual content and will be the first of its kind to be released through a streaming service. In June 2022, it was reported that the film was among the list of possible Venice Film Festival premieres.
