Bigg Boss OTT (Bigg Boss: Over-The-Top) is a digital spin-off of the popular Indian reality show Bigg Boss. It is presented in the Hindi language and is exclusively streamed on Voot and JioCinema. The inaugural season of this digital edition was hosted by Karan Johar and premiered on 8th August 2021.
Similar to the television series, in Bigg Boss OTT, a group of participants known as Housemates are placed in the Bigg Boss House, where they are continuously monitored by cameras and microphones. The ultimate victor of Bigg Boss OTT will be awarded a cash prize of ₹25 lacks along with the prestigious “OTT edition” trophy.
The show is a 24/7 non-stop show and also it has a 1-hour daily episode on Voot (Season 1) and JioCinema (Season 2) like the original edition.
The second season of Bigg Boss OTT premiered on June 17, 2023, on JioCinema. it would be completely streamed online JioCinema for 24×7 coverage.
