Tires Season 4 Release and Story Theories: Season 3 Already Sets Up Shane and Will’s Next Disaster

Tires Season 3 does not end like a comedy preparing to close the garage for good. Phil steps away from Valley Forge, Shane and Will inherit greater responsibility, Lucy’s pregnancy suddenly puts fatherhood in Shane’s future, and a larger tire company arrives with an offer that quickly starts sounding more like a threat. There is plenty left unresolved.

Netflix has not officially renewed Tires for Season 4 as of August 13, 2026, so there is currently no confirmed release date. That said, Season 3 leaves several deliberate storylines ready to continue, and Netflix’s broader creative partnership with Shane Gillis and John McKeever gives the show’s future some encouraging context. A renewal is plausible, but it should not be treated as confirmed until Netflix announces it.

Has Netflix Renewed Tires for Season 4?

No, Netflix has not announced Tires Season 4 yet. The streamer’s current official material is still focused on the newly released third season, which arrived on August 13. There is no Season 4 listing, renewal announcement or production date attached to the series at this point.

That is not especially alarming on release day. Season 3 itself was announced after Season 2 had already premiered, rather than being guaranteed years in advance. Netflix renewed the comedy for its third season in July 2025 after Season 2 arrived the previous month.

The next useful signal will be whether Netflix announces another season after seeing how Season 3 performs. Until then, any claim that Season 4 is already secretly happening would be speculation.

When Could Tires Season 4 Be Released?

If Netflix renews the series, a 2027 release would be the most reasonable estimate, but no date has been announced.

The show’s previous seasons have arrived on a fairly steady yearly rhythm. Tires debuted in May 2024, Season 2 followed in June 2025, and Season 3 arrived in August 2026. That does not create an official schedule, but it shows that Gillis, McKeever, Steve Gerben and their team have so far been able to bring Valley Forge back roughly once a year.

A fourth season could therefore plausibly arrive sometime in 2027 if Netflix orders it without a long delay. Anything more precise than that would be guesswork right now.

There is another encouraging factor. Gillis and McKeever signed a wider creative partnership with Netflix in January 2026 covering future films, scripted series, unscripted projects and additional stand-up work. That agreement does not automatically renew Tires, but it shows Netflix intends to keep doing business with the people behind it.

Will Shane and Will Sell Valley Forge?

Season 3 strongly sets up the future of Valley Forge as one of a possible fourth season’s central conflicts.

Just when Shane and Will finally gain more control of the family business, another tire company approaches them about purchasing the Valley Forge locations. Their immediate answer is no, but the proposal soon carries a harder edge. The rival does not seem interested in politely waiting for Valley Forge to reconsider.

That changes the basic premise of the show in an entertaining way. Earlier seasons were largely about whether Shane and Will were competent enough to keep the company alive. Season 4 could finally force them to defend it from somebody who actually knows how to run a business.

The irony is useful too. Will spent much of Season 3 fantasizing about escaping Valley Forge, especially after reconnecting with Taylor and seeing the successful life he might have built elsewhere. By the finale, the shop he once wanted to leave may become something he has to actively choose.

What Happens to Shane and Lucy Next?

Lucy and Shane’s pregnancy storyline is another obvious piece of unfinished Season 4 business.

The finale does not turn them into an official couple. Lucy tells Shane she is pregnant, he promises to support whatever she decides, and their later conversation about possible baby names indicates that both are beginning to think seriously about what comes next.

That leaves Tires with a relationship story that is much more interesting than simply asking whether Shane gets a girlfriend. Shane can become a father without becoming Lucy’s romantic partner. They could attempt co-parenting, rebuild their relationship slowly or discover that preparing for a child exposes every reason they failed as a couple in the first place.

Fatherhood would also force Shane to confront Phil’s influence differently. Shane has spent much of the series trying to earn recognition from his own father. Season 3 ends with Phil finally stepping away from the company just as Shane may have to decide what kind of father he wants to become himself.

Is Phil Really Done With Valley Forge?

Phil appears ready to step back, but that does not necessarily mean Thomas Haden Church’s character has no place in another season.

His decision to travel with Bonnie marks a major change for someone who spent much of the previous seasons controlling, criticizing or trying to rescue the family business. Leaving Shane and Will with greater authority is effectively Phil admitting that the next phase belongs to them. Season 4 could test that decision quickly.

If the rival tire company starts squeezing Valley Forge, the TakaTaka deal runs into trouble or Shane and Will make another spectacular business mistake, Phil would have every reason to wonder whether stepping away was premature. The comedy practically writes itself if the two younger men demand independence and then immediately need the person they wanted out of the building.

What Would Tires Season 4 Actually Be About?

A fourth season would most naturally revolve around ownership, adulthood and whether Shane and Will can finally operate without somebody above them cleaning up the damage.

The external story is already waiting: Valley Forge has a new business partner in TakaTaka and a larger competitor threatening its future. Will finally has the authority he has spent years claiming he deserves, which means he can no longer blame Phil whenever something goes wrong.

Shane faces the same test from another direction. Professional responsibility arrives alongside the possibility of becoming a father, leaving him with considerably less room to behave as though every disaster can be turned into tomorrow’s joke.

That is why Season 3’s ending feels much more like a transition than a conclusion. The first three seasons repeatedly asked whether these men could save Valley Forge. A fourth could ask something harder: what happens when the business finally becomes theirs to lose?

Netflix still has to make that decision first. Until a renewal arrives, Tires Season 4 remains a possibility rather than a certainty. But if this really is the last time viewers visit Valley Forge, Season 3 has left an unusually large pile of unfinished business sitting in the garage.
