A missing clip from Avengers: Endgame seems to support a terrifying idea about Thanos

A deleted clip from Avengers: Endgame might validate a popular Thanos belief.

This scene is an alternative take on a dialogue that takes place in the movie between Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton). You may watch this scene on Disney Plus, which is a streaming service.

Tilda Swinton in Doctot Strange

Swinton tells Hulk removing an Infinity Stone creates a new timeline. She then reveals that she’s used the Time Stone to see past her own death, which wasn’t in the film.

The shocking information that Thanos’ devastating finger-snap, which wiped out half of reality, didn’t really kill a single person, is revealed by her at this point.

She reveals that Thanos, rather than killing them, just willed them out of existence, which is what ultimately made it possible for them to be resurrected in the future.

This handily explains why Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow couldn’t be revived, but it also reveals a potential difficulty for the heroes: Thanos is still alive.

Tony Stark concluded Endgame by wiping out Thanos and his army with the snap of his fingers, the same as how Thanos wiped out half of the Avengers.

Thanos can undoubtedly make a comeback if all those who were willed out of existence by him in the Marvel Cinematic Universe can.

It’s unclear how the studio’s writers were able to bring him back, but maybe another villain will seek out the Mad Titan’s assistance in the future to further their own evil plans.

If Marvel officials ever want to bring Thanos back, they can.
